On April 24th, 2002, Captain Scott Monier of the White Settlement Police Department
laid down his life in the line of duty. While responding to a domestic disturbance,
Captain Monier was fatally shot. The Captain Scott Monier Scholarship Fund has been
established in his honor to provide financial help to those persons who are seeking
education in the Criminal Justice field.
